ed="T"/>造像塔。于此供养。于时此寺有三果人住中。 <lb n="0877b03" ed="T"/>秦相由余常所奉敬。往者迦葉<persName>佛</persName>时。亦于此 <lb n="0877b04" ed="T"/>立寺。是彼沙弥显际造也。仍其本名以为寺 <lb n="0877b05" ed="T"/>额。又问。今<name role="" type="person">玉华宫</name>南檀台山上有砖塔。面别 <lb n="0877b06" ed="T"/>三十步。下层极壮。四面石龛。旁有碎砖。又有 <lb n="0877b07" ed="T"/>三十馀窑砖。古老莫知何代。然每闻钟声。答 <lb n="0877b08" ed="T"/>云。此穆王寺也。名曰灵山。至育王时。敕山神 <lb n="0877b09" <lb n="0877b10" ed="T"/>安。数梦此山<persName>佛</persName>见在砖塔中坐。语曜曰。汝少 <lb n="0877b11" ed="T"/>饮酒。莫耽色欲。黜去邪佞。进用忠良。曜不能 <lb n="0877b12" ed="T"/>从。後于洛阳酒醉落马。为<name role="" type="person">石勒</name>所擒。初曜因 <lb ed="T"/>上。常见鹿集。逐去还来。有人异之。于鹿集 <lb n="0877b23" ed="T"/>处。窟深一丈。获一石像长丈许。又问。荆州前 <lb n="0877b24" ed="T"/><name role="" type="person">大明寺</name>栴檀像者。云是优塡王所造。依传。从 <lb n="0877b25" ed="T"/>彼模来至梁。今京师又有。何者是本。答云。大 <lb n="0877b26" ed="T"/>明是其本像。梁高祖既崩像来荆渚。至元帝 <lb n="0877b27" ed="T"/>承圣三年。周平梁後。收国宝皆入北周。其檀 <lb n="0877b28" ed="T"/>像者。有僧珍法师。藏隐房内。多以财物。赂遗 <lb n="0877b29" ed="T"/>使人。像遂得停。隋开皇九年。高祖遣使人柳 <pb n="0877c" role="" type="person">释道安</name>使弟子翼法师之所造也。 <lb n="0878a04" ed="T"/>自晋至唐。曾无亏损。殿前有四铁镬。各受十 <lb n="0878a05" ed="T"/>馀斛。以𦔉莲花。殿前塔宋谯王義季所造。塔 <lb n="0878a06" ed="T"/>内塑像。及东殿中弥勒像。幷是<name role="" type="person">忉利天</name>工所 <lb n="0878a07" ed="T"/>造。西殿中多金铜像。宝怅飞仙珠幡华珮。幷 <lb n="0878a08" ed="T"/>是四天王天人所造。寺内僧众兼于主客出 <lb n="0878a09" ed="T"/>万馀人。当途讲说者五十三人。得其圣果。各 <lb n="0878a10" ed="T"/>领千僧。馀小法师五百馀人。十诵律师有四 <lb n="0878a11" ed="T"/>十九人。得圣果。大小乘禅师八百馀人。其得 <lb n="0878a12" ed="T"/>圣果者二百四十四人。徒众严肃说不可尽。 <lb n="0878a13" ed="T"/>寺法立制。诵经六十纸者免维那。诵法花经 <lb n="0878a14" ed="T"/>度者免直岁。寺房五重。幷皆七架。别院大小 <lb n="0878a15" ed="T"/>合有十所。般舟方等二院莊严最勝。夏别常 <lb n="0878a16" ed="T"/>有千人。寺中屋宇及四周廊庑等。减一万间。 <lb n="0878a17" ed="T"/>寺开三门。两褈七间。两厦殿宇横设。幷不重 <lb n="0878a18" ed="T"/>安。约准地数。取其久固。所以殿宇至今三百 <lb n="0878a19" ed="T"/>年馀。无有损败。东川大寺唯此为高。映曜川 <lb n="0878a20" ed="T"/>原。实称壮观也。又问。弥天释<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0878002" n="0878002"/><anchor ed="T"/>今东寺见有驴台存矣。後人崇敬其处。于上 <lb n="0878a23" ed="T"/>植树。周砌石池莲花莊严供养。此印手菩萨 <lb n="0878a24" ed="T"/>不思议之迹也。又一本云。乘驴事虚也。问曰。 <lb n="0878a25" ed="T"/>若尔传虚何为河东寺尙有驴台。<g ref="#CB05050">𭘠</g>山南有 <lb n="0878a26" ed="T"/>驴村。據此缘由。则乘驴之有地也。答曰。非 <lb n="0878a27" ed="T"/>也。後人筑台于上。植树供养焉。有<persName>佛</persName>殿之侧 <lb n="0878a28" ed="T"/>顿置驴耶。又中驴之名本是闾国郡国之故 <lb n="0878a29" ed="T"/>地也。後人不练。遂妄拟之。此事两本所说各 <pb n="0878b" xml:id="T45.1898.0878b" ed="T"/> <lb n="0878b01" ed="T"/>异。故备录之。又问。蜀地简州三学山寺空灯 <lb n="0878b02" ed="T"/>常明者何。答曰。山有菩萨。寺迦葉<persName>佛</persName>正法时 <lb n="0878b03" ed="T"/>初立。有欢喜王菩萨造之。寺名法灯。自彼至 <lb n="0878b19" ed="T"/>圣者弟子。为此山神。多造恶业。文殊愍之。便 <lb n="0878b20" ed="T"/>来教化。遂识宿命。请为留迹。我常礼事。得離 <lb n="0878b21" ed="T"/>诸恶。文殊为现。今者是也。贞观三年。山神命 <lb n="0878b22" ed="T"/>终。生<name role="" type="person">兜率天</name>。别有一神。来居此地。即旧神亲 <lb n="0878b23" ed="T"/>家也。大造诸恶生天。旧神愍之。下请文殊。为 <lb n="0878b24" ed="T"/>现小迹。以化後神。又从正法。故今此山大小 <lb n="0878b25" ed="T"/>迹现。莫不匪由焉<note place="inline">事见付嘱仪</note>。又问。泌州北山见今 <lb n="0878b26" ed="T"/>石窟中<persName>佛</persName>常有光明者何。答云。此窟迦葉<persName>佛</persName> <lb n="0878b27" ed="T"/>二时备有。往昔周穆王第二子造迦葉<persName>佛</persName>像。 <lb n="0878b28" ed="T"/>又问。渭州<name role="" type="person">终南山</name>有<persName>佛</persName>面山七<persName>佛</persName><g ref="#CB00589">涧</g>者。事同 <lb n="0878b29" ed="T"/>于前。南山库谷大藏。是迦葉<persName>佛</persName>自手所造之 <pb n="0878c" xml:id="T45.1898.0878c" ed="T"/> <lb n="0878c01" ed="T"/>藏也。今见有十三缘觉。在谷内住。又曰。今诸 <lb n="0878c02" ed="T"/>是昔<name role="" type="person">刘萨诃</name>感灵。今往扬州。登越城。望见长 <lb n="0878c13" ed="T"/>干。有异气。因标掘获。如今传所明。余问。若 <lb n="0878c14" ed="T"/>尔。已有长干。便为<persName>佛</persName>刹不。答。非刹干也。干 <lb n="0878c15" ed="T"/>是地之长陇。名陇为干。塔逼长陇之侧。书不 <lb n="0878c16" ed="T"/>云乎包括干越。越地多长陇也。临海鄮县塔 <lb n="0878c17" ed="T"/>者。亦是育王古塔。小塔是贤劫初<persName>佛</persName>中者。有 <lb n="0878c18" ed="T"/>迦葉<persName>佛</persName>臂骨。非人所见。罗汉将往<name role="" type="person">铁围山</name>。留 <lb n="0878c19" ed="T"/>小塔。从地涌出。为开俗福也。其塔大有善神。 <lb n="0878c20" ed="T"/>恒现二鱼。井中鳗<g n="0879a25" ed="T"/>形。崇敬寺地本是战场。西晋将末。五胡大起。 <lb n="0879a26" ed="T"/>兵戈杀害。此地极多。地下人骨今犹见在。所 <lb n="0879a27" ed="T"/>杀无辜。残害酷滥。故诸鬼神携以镇之。令诸 <lb n="0879a28" ed="T"/>冤魂得生善念。周朝灭法。神亦徙之。隋主载 <lb n="0879a29" ed="T"/>隆。<persName>佛</persName>还重<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0879004" n="0879004"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0879004" n="0879004"/><anchor xml:id="beg0879004" n="0879004"/>起<anchor xml:id="end0879004"/>。又问。诸神自在。威力殊大。至 <pb n="0879b" xml:id="T45.1898.0879b" ed="T"/> <lb n="0879b01" ed="T"/>如蜀川三塔。咸名大石。人有掘者。莫测其源。 <lb n="0879b02" ed="T"/>至如秦川武功一塔。古老相传。名曰育王塔。 <lb n="0879b03" ed="T"/>三十年中。一度出现。贞观已来。两度曾出。虽 <lb n="0879b04" ed="T"/>光瑞殊壮。而舍利如指骨。在石<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0879005" n="0879005"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0879005" n="0879005"/><anchor xml:id="beg0879005" n="0879005"/>函<anchor xml:id="end0879005"/>中。如何 <lb n="0879b05" ed="T"/>狭陋若此。答云。诸鬼神中。贫富不定。各是往 <lb n="0879b06" ed="T"/>业。如人不殊。天中亦尔。随其所有。而用供 <lb n="0879b07" ed="T"/>养此塔<note place="inline">云云</note>。又问。幽冥所感俗中常有疑。以 <lb n="0879b08" ed="T"/>神去形朽而犹重来。如记传中。或经七日百 <lb n="0879b09" ed="T"/>日至三年者。识来形起如生不殊。如经中云。 <lb n="0879b10" ed="T"/>录其精神在彼王所五三七日者何耶。答曰。 <lb n="0879b11" ed="T"/>人禀七识。识各有神。心识为主。主虽前往。而 <lb n="0879b12" ed="T"/>馀神守护。不足怪也。彼问余云。师言受戒一 <lb n="0879b13" ed="T"/>戒幾神。余云。见五戒中一戒五神。未知大戒 <lb n="0879b14" ed="T"/>如何。答云。僧之受戒有二百五十神。若毁一 <lb n="0879b15" ed="T"/>重戒。唯一神不在。则二百四十九神恒随犯 <lb n="0879b16" ed="T"/>戒者。又问。<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0879006" n="0879006"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0879006" n="0879006"/><anchor xml:id="beg0879006" n="0879006"/>苟蒨<anchor xml:id="end0879006"/><note place="inline">此见反</note>者绵州巴西县人也。得 <lb n="0879b17" ed="T"/>第二果。客遊新繁村中教学。其人不食酒肉。 <lb n="0879b18" ed="T"/>村人多信外道。与其酒肉令食。其人不食。村 <lb n="0879b19" ed="T"/>人遂打之。其人能书。村人从乞。不与。又更被 <lb n="0879b20" ed="T"/>打。复不礼遇。遂即愼恼。因发誓愿。于村外草 <lb n="0879b21" ed="T"/>中仰卧。以笔向空书之。村人怪问。答云。我书 <lb n="0879b22" ed="T"/>经本。遣天看读。不许人见。上界诸天将天中 <lb n="0879b23" ed="T"/>纸向下承笔。遂写得金刚般若经一卷。经于 <lb n="0879b24" ed="T"/>七日。方始得了。诸天于上造作宝盖覆之。地 <lb n="0879b25" ed="T"/>遂无草。放牛小儿避雨多于其下。村人怪其 <lb n="0879b26" ed="T"/>衣燥。答云。我于苟先生写经处避雨。村人因 <lb n="0879b27" ed="T"/>此遂即信敬。今于其处。以木为栏。不许侵汚。 <lb n="0879b28" ed="T"/>每至斋日。村人于中设<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0879007" n="0879007"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0879007" n="0879007"/><anchor xml:id="beg0879007" n="0879007"/>会<anchor xml:id="end0879007"/>。又问。鼓山竹林 <lb n="0879b29" ed="T"/>寺名何代所出。答云。是迦葉<persName>佛</persName>时造。周穆王 <pb n="0879c" xml:id="T45.1898.0879c" ed="T"/> <lb n="0879c01" ed="T"/>于中更重造寺。穆王<persName>佛</persName>殿幷及塑像。至今见 <lb n="0879c02" ed="T"/>存。山神从<persName>佛</persName>请五百罗汉住此寺。即今见有 <lb n="0879c03" ed="T"/>二千圣像绕寺。左侧见有五万五通神仙。供 <lb n="0879c04" ed="T"/>养此寺<note ed="T"/>间。今之所解百不存一。然有所注记钞仪。幷 <lb n="0879c09" ed="T"/>是曾闻馀习。计师报命已。终过一年矣。今则 <lb n="0879c10" ed="T"/>以传录馀业慈力所熏。天人扶助故。日复一 <lb n="0879c11" ed="T"/>日。师岂不知。去年已来。无降损日。但枯丧 <lb n="0879c12" ed="T"/>耳。如枯树朽车。无由更壮。余问。若尔意欲更 <lb n="0879c13" ed="T"/>读藏经抄录要行见事。可得遂不。答云。师前 <lb n="0879c14" ed="T"/>读藏经太粗。但究与律相<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0879010" n="0879010"/><anchor xml:id="nkr_note_mod_0879010" n="0879010"/><anchor xml:id="beg0879010" n="0879010"/>扶<anchor xml:id="end0879010"/>者。至于优柔文 <lb n="0879c15" ed="T"/>義。过非深细。必欲重读。随分亦应得耳。无奈 <lb n="0879c16" ed="T"/>报命久终。生处复欲师到。师常观不愿早生 <lb n="0879c17" ed="T"/>在人有弘律教。幸愿悉之。又曰。前所制章服 <lb n="0879c18" ed="T"/>仪。灵神感喜。自<persName>佛</persName>法东传。六七百年。南北律 <lb n="0879c19" ed="T"/>师曾无此意。安用杀生之财。而为慈悲之服。 <lb n="0879c20" ed="T"/>全不然也。师何独拔此意。答曰。余读智度论。 <lb n="0879c21" ed="T"/>见<persName>佛</persName>著粗布僧伽梨。因怀在心。何得乖此。及 <lb n="0879c22" ed="T"/>听律後。便见蚕衣卧具纵得已成幷斩壞涂 <lb n="0879c23" ed="T"/>埵。由此重增景仰。古昔周朝老僧咸著大布 <lb n="0879c24" ed="T"/>衣。一生服一補者。咸布乃至重二三斤者。复 <lb n="0879c25" ed="T"/>见西来梵僧。咸著布<g ref="#CB00626">氎</g>。具问。答曰。五天竺 <lb n="0879c26" ed="T"/>国。无著蚕衣。由此兴念。著斯章服仪。通瞻古 <lb n="0879c27" ed="T"/>今成教。融会卧具三衣。且凡情琐细。保固尤 <lb n="0879c28" ed="T"/>重。身服所接。莫匪损生焉。肯捐捨著兹法服。 <lb n="0879c29" ed="T"/>又法服所拟。本显慈仁之心。非仁无以拔济。 <pb n="0880a" xml:id="T45.1898.0880a" ed="T"/> <lb n="0880a01" ed="T"/>济必由慈而护。故<persName>佛</persName>心者大慈也。杀生而行 <lb n="0880a02" ed="T"/>慈。未见其可。故沉隐侯之著论也。五亩之宅。 <lb n="0880a03" ed="T"/>树之以桑。则年六十者。容色已衰。内假缣纩。 <lb n="0880a04" ed="T"/>外存大布。所以大佈之服。通于富贵贫贱也。 <lb n="0880a05" ed="T"/>今犹通行于王臣。古法不改。有老少之殊。故 <lb n="0880a06" ed="T"/>致降杀之异。道无损害之理。长少咸一法衣。 <lb n="0880a07" ed="T"/>法是慈化焉。通损害也<note place="inline">云云</note>。又曰。三衣破缘 <lb n="0880a08" ed="T"/>而缝。江表咸然。此何不尔。余曰。四分无文 <lb n="0880a09" ed="T"/>故。绝<anchor ed="T"/>割截後更接。但是一边一头意者。接于四面。 <lb n="0880a19" ed="T"/>通皆周缘如何。余云。今信诚教。不徒设也。律 <lb n="0880a20" ed="T"/>云。于本制外。廣长更增半搩手。據文止是一 <lb n="0880a21" ed="T"/>廣一长。不云四周之廣长也。在事非无不便。 <lb n="0880a22" ed="T"/>犹勝跋阇之踪。便默然。又问余云。今见比丘 <lb n="0880a23" ed="T"/>行者。以座具置左肩上。情有不忍。何者。座具 <lb n="0880a24" ed="T"/>资下之具。如何忽在上肩。又衣角多在左手。 <lb n="0880a25" ed="T"/>今则如何在左肩上。弟子俗人未廣知律。师 <lb n="0880a26" ed="T"/>可说之。乐闻斯要。余曰。座具在肩。斯诚教 <lb n="0880a27" ed="T"/>也。舍利弗初起祇垣。外道雲踊。须达命舍利 <lb n="0880a28" ed="T"/>弗。乃具修威仪。以尼师壇置左肩上。庠序入 <lb n="0880a29" ed="T"/>大众中。至高座取而敷之。又诸律论多处有 <pb n="0880b" xml:id="T45.1898.0880b" ed="T"/> <lb n="0880b01" ed="T"/>文。比丘食已。入定出定以尼师壇在左肩上。 <lb n="0880b02" ed="T"/>入林坐禅。且三衣右角皆在左肩。座具安上。 <lb n="0880b03" ed="T"/>又加钵袋于上。故善见云。钵袋贯左肩。靑色 <lb n="0880b04" ed="T"/>分明。岂非古人行事也。今则三衣下置左肘。 <lb n="0880b05" ed="T"/>座具藏于内臂。及论方坐若食若语。幷在左 <lb n="0880b06" ed="T"/><g ref="#CB01370">腿</g>。钵袋络左<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_add_0880b0601" n="0880b0601"/><anchor xml:id="beg0880b0601" n="0880b0601"/>膊<anchor <lb n="0880b11" ed="T"/>则放纵左髀。未见正文所许。终是放逸威仪。 <lb n="0880b12" ed="T"/>又座具之制本为护。于身衣及僧卧具也。其 <lb n="0880b13" ed="T"/>中表裡俱净。不同此土之僧。故经中。乞食已 <lb n="0880b14" ed="T"/>还至本处。收衣钵方始洗之而坐。至于革屣。 <lb n="0880b15" ed="T"/>拭刮纲系。如面手焉。故身衣俱净在肩。无有 <lb n="0880b16" ed="T"/>不净之者。此土之僧。身之臭秽。焉可以言。左 <lb n="0880b17" ed="T"/>古便利曾不澡除。内外衣裳曾何浣濯。三衣 <lb n="0880b18" ed="T"/>少备。裙裤尤多。人见犹有厌其腥臊。天闻義 <lb n="0880b19" ed="T"/>当悲其忍辱。據此诚文。今在肩上。观事止可 <lb n="0880b20" ed="T"/>藏于臂中。如有依法沙门。不行恶习。内外俱 <lb n="0880b21" ed="T"/>净。形服可观。岂得背<persName>佛</persName>诚言不顺左肩之法。 <lb n="0880b22" ed="T"/>故十诵毘奈耶云。三衣之钩纽也。前去缘四 <lb n="0880b23" ed="T"/>容端美。入城乞食。多为女爱。由是<persName>佛</persName>制。衣角 <lb n="0880c06" ed="T"/>在左肩。後为风飘。听以重物镇上。比丘不达 <lb n="0880c07" ed="T"/><persName>佛</persName>意。自造镇衣之物。种种莊严。诸俗讥嫌。比 <lb n="0880c08" ed="T"/>丘以事白<persName>佛</persName>言。我前听安重物。即是尼师壇。 <lb n="0880c09" ed="T"/>馀者不合。後<name role="" type="person">王舍城</name>外道。名达摩多。称一切 <lb n="0880c10" ed="T"/>智。所著衣服幷皆鲜净。日易一衣。日三十浴。 <lb n="0880c11" ed="T"/>所食皆以香薪香炭作之。所住皆以香材。涂 <lb n="0880c12" ed="T"/>泥皆以香汁。园林皆植香树。所种花药皆是 <lb n="0880c13" ed="T"/>香者。流泉池水皆聚牛头檀香内水中。以为 <lb n="0880c14" ed="T"/>香洁。虽帝释欢喜之园。未能加也。<persName>世尊</persName>尔时 <lb n="0880c15" ed="T"/>将诸比丘。入城乞食。执持衣钵。座具在肩。有 <lb n="0880c16" ed="T"/>诸外道。语达摩多言。今瞿昙沙门入城乞食。 <lb n="0880c17" ed="T"/>可往言论降从大师。时达摩多领诸徒众。身 <lb n="0880c18" ed="T"/>披白<g ref="#CB00626">氎</g>。所披一张價値千两紫磨黄金。将至 <lb n="0880c19" ed="T"/><persName>佛</persName>所。时大梵天王请<persName>佛</persName>陞天。外道至唯见比 <lb n="0880c20" ed="T"/>丘。便问比丘。肩上片布持将何用。答曰。拟将 <lb n="0880c21" ed="T"/>坐之。又问。汝所披衣名何等。圣答云。忍辱 <lb n="0880c22" ed="T"/>铠也。又问。何名忍辱铠。答曰。即是为三宝之 <lb n="0880c23" ed="T"/>相。上制天魔。下降外道。达摩多云。此衣既为 <lb n="0880c24" ed="T"/>可贵。有大威灵。岂得以所坐之布而居其上。 <lb n="0880c25" ed="T"/>为是瞿昙教汝。为是汝自为之。诸比丘咸皆 <lb n="0880c26" ed="T"/>默然。外道云。若瞿昙教汝。此法不足可尊。云 <lb n="0880c27" ed="T"/>何自称一切智人。若是汝自为之。师何复不 <lb n="0880c28" ed="T"/>教汝耶。比丘食讫还僧坊中。以事白<persName>佛</persName>。由此 <lb n="0880c29" ed="T"/><persName>佛</persName>制。还以衣角。居于左臂。座具还在衣下。于 <pb n="0881a" xml:id="T45.1898.0881a" ed="T"/> <lb n="0881a01" ed="T"/>後比丘披著袈裟。多不齐整。诸離车子讥言。 <lb n="0881a02" ed="T"/>无有威仪。所披衣服。状如<anchor ed="T"/>腋下。不得令垂如上过也。前引舍利弗事。此 <lb n="0881a05" ed="T"/>乃前开不见後制。義须纶综。往者鸡鸣之诗。 <lb n="0881a06" ed="T"/>挈壶掌漏刻之官。齐侯无道官失其守。诸侯 <lb n="0881a07" ed="T"/>来朝顚倒衣裳。诗人刺之。可不镜哉。书云。冠 <lb n="0881a08" ed="T"/>虽贱。不可以居下。屦虽贵。不可以居上。此言 <lb n="0881a09" ed="T"/>虽小。可以况大。古人或询刍荛。伏愿仁慈。不 <lb n="0881a10" ed="T"/>以人微废教也。余备闻雅论。前<anchor xml:id="nkr_note_orig_0881001" n="0881001"/><anchor
